White Cosmos - Deckled Edge
There’s something about the name - cosmos. The encyclopedia Britannica describes the cosmos of astronomy as the entire physical universe considered as a unified whole, from the greek meaning order and harmony. Wide and vast. The flower by the same name has always intrigued me. Perhaps the width and breadth of the universe is also contained in the smallest, most fragile things.
This series started this summer, painting in a couple of friend’s gardens. Art and life are ever woven together. For me, these paintings speak just as much about tending to ourselves as they do about tending to gardens. I love to think about land and how we care for it as a portrait of ourselves.
These giclée prints, on a textured 100% cotton rag watercolor paper, are certified archival. Each image with the natural deckled edge as shown has a 1 inch boarder to accommodate the title and signature by the artist.
Images are professionally printed by a local fine art reproduction studio. They take pride in their high resolution capture so the wonderful richness of each stroke is perfectly replicated.
Please allow up to two weeks for printing and shipping time.
